Karen Ecclestone - Personal Lines Account Handler
A brief run down of you relevant history of employment and experience.
I started work at age 16 for Midland Bank on Long Row, now HSBC, before moving onto Norwich Union, now Aviva. After a couple of years I moved into insurance broking and continued to work for a high street broker for the next 28 years - the latter years spent as Office Manager, before deciding to reduce my hours to part-time. I moved to Firth & Scott in 2002.
Your hobbies, pastimes, interests, leisure activities etc.
In the little spare time I have I like to read crime fiction, the gorier the better, and anything to do with forensics. I like 80's music and enjoy going to see the bands I missed first time round. Also, I enjoy visiting the theatre, live comedy and dining out, especially hot Asian food.
If you could have lunch with anyone, who would you like to have lunch with?
If I had to choose a dinner guest it would have to be between Billy Connolly or Sir Les Patterson. They both make me laugh, although dinner with Sir Les could get a bit messy!
